Winter Stereoptic Print
This was the first image created for the series. It was created before, but in very much the same way, as the Winter Rose image. I had found this dried weed a few weeks before it was cold enough to create the icicles. There were many days patiently waiting for the weather report to be in my favor. Finally, on a chilly morning, I was able to wake up before dawn to spray the weed, wait till it froze, then spray again. After a couple hours, the ice had formed and I was ready to take the picture.
In simplest terms, this series creates a 3D effect when viewed correctly. Viewing glasses are included with each purchase as a separate shipment.
Please note, the display photos are showcasing the image printed at 48×80 inches with a dark frame.
All prints are printed on a Deep Matte Velvet paper with a 2mm styrene backing. It produces rich colors on a non-reflective surface. The matte finish is best for viewing the 3D effect.
